Desmond was admitted to practice in September 2010 and joined Rennick & Gaynor in September 2017.
Desmond has extensive experience in the areas of commercial law, property law and litigation. He has represented a wide range of both private and corporate clients in property law matters (including real estate, leasing and development transactions) demonstrated by his integral role as instructing solicitor in Phillips v Abel [2019] VCAT 1031. He also acts in civil and commercial litigation matters in various jurisdictions (including the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, County Court of Victoria, Supreme Court of Victoria and Federal Court of Australia).
Desmond has a passion for helping people understand and navigate their legal issues. He prides himself on his client focus and giving practical solutions, not just stating the law.
